Grandhotel Praha is located Tatranska Lomnica, at the foot of Lomnicky Peak, right in the heart of High Tatras and only 900 metres from the nearest ski lift. The wellness is just marvelous, one of my fav ever. I like that they have a separate, quite resting room with beds & blankets & candle lights, so you can easily take a spiritual inside journey after sauna & cold plunge. The steam bath has a unique citric smell that gets you cleaned up from toe to the top. The sight from the outside jacuzzi pool is just jaw dropping. They serve free refreshing drinks, water and orange flavored water as well. Rooms are nice and clean, the restaurant & the salon looks like you'd have been in a beautifully designed castle in the 18th century. Liked to stay here very much, will definitely come back again.

Located in Belianske Tatry region and right next to the Strachan Ski Centre, Wellness Penzion Strachan offers a wellness centre, a restaurant and various entertainment activities. Place you would come back to. This is an amazing place to stay. You get everything you need and want. Spacious room with balcony and view. The bathroom is big, especially shower. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful(I'm sure they were happy to see me going because my demanding behaviour was out of control). The hotel is just 3 minutes away by car from the ski resort, or you can use one right next hotel, so it's a perfect location. It was the best breakfast I ever had in a hotel. Plenty of choices and glass of prosecco was appreciated, too. There is no kettle in the room, but you don't need one. I did use a spa at the hotel. It was very helpful after skiing, just relax(have to be booked in front). Another great thing is that you can leave your ski gear in a special room, where your ski and ski boots dry.

Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en in het restaurant kun je een goed ontbijt eten of diner. Kortom een super locatie voor je wandelvakantie!

De sfeer, comfort en ligging van het hotel waren heerlijk, na 1,5 week steden te hebben bezocht was een korte break in de natuur heerlijk. De kamer was ruim en schoon en de faciliteiten in het hotel geweldig. Ook de kabelbaan naar de Treetop Walk direct naast het hotel was super. Het ontbijtbuffet is rijkelijk, voldoende keus en alles vers.

Wij komen al 12 jaar aaneen gesloten naar Poprad, inmiddels hebben we een leuke vriendenkring opgebouwd (Slowaaks en Hollands). Nog steeds gaan wij met veel plezier naar (ons) Poprad. Geweldig wandelen in de Hoge Tatra en een fijn banjeren in de stad Poprad. In het enorm mooi winkelcentrum FORUM kan men lekker en goedkoop, naar eigen keuze eten !!

Prima uitvalbasis voor wandelingen in de hoge Tatra. Een beetje verder rijden, maar zeer de moeite waard is een bezoek aan het Slowaaks Paradijs (wandeling door kloven, over trappen, hoge ladders, boomstammen en water). We hebben heerlijk gegeten bij het Italiaanse restaurant in Stary smokovec.

Poprad is zo goed als dood van maandag tot woensdag.
Poprad is zo goed als dood van maandag tot woensdag. In een zijstraat van het plein is er wel een leuk café. Vanaf donderdag komt het volk buiten en in het weekend is er zelfs een danscafé. Poprad ligt centraal tussen de hoge Tatra en het Slowaaks paradijs. De prijzen in Poprad zijn goedkoop. De hoge Tatra daar is het iets duurder. Maar als ik iets mag aanraden dan is het wel het Slowaaks paradijs. Tip: Je schoenen worden zeker nat dus neem een extra paar mee voor als je boven bent. Dikke zolen is ook een aanrader want het zijn allemaal stenen. (niet geschikt voor kinderen onder de 12 jaar)

De ligging van Kezmarok is uitstekend om de omgeving van deze plaats te bezoeken: In Kezmarok heb je zicht op de besneeuwde toppen van de Hoge Tatra, prachtige natuur in de omgeving, leuke plaatsen om te bezoeken en Kezmarok zelf heeft ook leuke bezienswaardigheden. Kezmarok heeft ook goede eetgelegenheden. Wij hebben in de Hoge Tatra prachtige wandelingen gemaakt.

My wife and I spent Christmas and New Year at the Atrium Hotel High Tatras. Throughout our stay the staff did everything to insure we had a wonderful holiday. The facilities more than met our expectations. From the reception, the restaurants, wellness center, to the bowling bar the staff were most curtiest. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were outstanding with a wide variety off dishes to select from. Adjacent to the hotel is a ski slope which is also well maintained.

Wat een super de luxe locatie. Heerlijk na een dag het tatragebergte beklommen te hebben. Supermarkt beneden. Gegeten in het hotel. We hadden een gratis upgrade naar een studio gekregen. Balkon was ook top. Het was super hier. Savonds nog een beer gezien. Die lopen hier gewoon, maar doen niks werd ons verteld. Super naar de zin gehad.

Fantastic 3 Star Hotel which actually deserves 4 or more stars!!! Food was delicious and every evening/breakfast they served new dishes with plenty of options. The cooks really did a great job!!! Wellness area was nice and comfortable and offered also enough space for swimming and relaxing. The staff was extraordinary!!! Everyone payed attention and did not mind to support the other colleagues. Prices for drinks and wellness were reasonable (Only the dog fee with 20 Euro per night was in my opinion a little too high) Besides that this is a great Hotel in Tatranska Lomnica in best location to the city center and ski lifts. Rooms are beeing modernized, as I saw, so I believe it will be a perfectly modern Hotel soon!

The apartman is in a very nice place. We were very satified with the staff. The apartmans are clean and big. The view to the mountains is amazing.
